GROUNDED CONTINUUM

A CONTINUOUS THREAD OF SUPPORT

Welcome to the Grounded Grief Continuum:
A Community for Our Grief, Beyond the Therapy Room

Grief Doesn't End When The Session Is Over

We built The Continuum because we know that the hardest part of grief often happens between the hours of 1:1 therapy. You don’t always need deep, intensive processing. Sometimes, you simply need to know you aren’t alone.

The Continuum is not therapy. It is not a course. It is structured belonging. It is a space to rest, to be witnessed by licensed clinicians you trust, and to stay connected to a community who understands exactly what you are carrying.

Designed to be your steady ground, it is a dedicated membership space that brings the support, resources, and shared understanding of Grounded Grief into your everyday life. It is an ongoing space where you can show up exactly as you are, engaging as much or as little as you need on any given day.

  • Expert-held space: Facilitated by the licensed clinical team at Grounded Grief.

  • No pressure to perform: Keep your camera off or just listen. Come as you are.

  • A gentle rhythm: Predictable, sustainable touchpoints that won't overwhelm your nervous system.

Your monthly membership includes four intentional touchpoints, facilitated by Grounded Grief’s licensed clinical team. You can attend them all, or simply take what you need.

Monthly Cadence

  • EMBER Live Community Circle: Our monthly anchor. Designed specifically to navigate all types of loss. This 90-minute support group is a dedicated space for your grief to breathe. Navigating grief can feel isolating, but you don't have to carry it alone. Each month, we gather to tend to whatever arises through guided meditation, journaling, and shared reflection. Whether you choose to actively share or simply be present, EMBER offers a steady, compassionate environment to connect and build community on your own terms.

  • Live Integration Hour: A facilitated drop-in grounding space. With no required sharing, this is a dedicated hour to co-exist, be held, and ground alongside others, guided by clinicians who understand the needs of grief.

  • Video Workshop: An on-demand offering from our clinical team exploring a range of grief topics—including meaning-making, continuing bonds, attachment, and compassion—alongside guided journaling prompts, grounding exercises, and gentle yoga and movement for somatic processing.

  • Gentle Touchpoint: A simple grounding prompt, short audio practice, or ritual delivered straight to your inbox to keep you connected to the space between our live gatherings.

Membership Perks

  • Reduced Rates on Grounded Grief Offerings: Continuum members receive 25% off selected groups, workshops, and events. Explore eligible offerings here.

CONNECTED. HELD. HUMAN.

ContinuumBG.jpg

What the Continuum IS:

  • Expert Facilitation: Held and guided by licensed grief and trauma clinicians.

  • Structured Belonging: A reliable space to connect with a community and clinicians who get it.

  • Predictable Pacing: A repeatable rhythm designed to be low-pressure and spacious.

  • Curated Resources: A place to access Grounded Grief's growing library of content and resources, gathered from years of working with those navigating grief.

  • Universal Access: Fully online and open to everyone, regardless of the type of loss you're navigating. No matter where you live or the demands of your life, this is a place where your grief gets to exist, front and center.

What the Continuum is NOT:

  • Not Clinical Therapy: A shared space for connection, reflection, and community, rather than a substitute for clinical 1:1 or group therapy. However, The Continuum can be a gentle introduction to skilled grief therapy for those who haven't experienced it before, and a stabilizing anchor for those needing steady ground in between sessions.

  • Not a Rigid Curriculum: A flexible, take-what-you-need rhythm where there is zero required reading and no way to "fall behind."

  • Not Crisis Intervention: A gentle landing pad for ongoing continuity and reflection, rather than immediate stabilization for acute trauma.

  • Not an In-Person Program: A fully virtual community, though our hope is to offer supplemental in-person gatherings for Continuum members in the future.

"Communal grieving offers something that we cannot get when we grieve by ourselves. Through validation, acknowledgement and witnessing, communal grieving allows us to experience a level of healing that is deeply and profoundly freeing. Each of us has a basic human right to that genuine love, happiness and freedom."

Frequently Asked Questions

When does The Continuum officially begin?

Our doors are currently open for our Founding Cohort! The first live EMBER Community Circle, Workshop, and Monthly Touchpoint will officially launch in October.

When you sign up today, your discounted rate is locked in for life, and you will receive a welcome email with the exact dates and Zoom links for our first month together.

Is this group therapy?

No. While The Continuum is safely facilitated by our licensed grief and trauma therapists, it is an educational and community-supported space, not a substitute for clinical treatment. It is a space for continuity, reflection, and structured belonging.

Do I have to attend every session or share my story?

Not at all. This is a take-what-you-need space with absolutely no pressure to perform. You can attend all the touchpoints, join the drop-in space with your camera off, or simply just read the monthly email prompt or engage with the video prompts on-demand. Come exactly as you are.

Will the live circles be overcrowded?

We expect our Founding Cohort to be a more intimate space of up to 15 attendees.

To ensure everyone in our community feels safely held and has the opportunity to be witnessed, we strictly cap our live EMBER Circles at 30 attendees.

What if my schedule changes and I miss a workshop?

Because this is not a strict curriculum, there is no falling behind. If you miss a live circle or a workshop, you can seamlessly rejoin the rhythm the following month whenever you are ready.

Am I locked into a long-term contract? What if I need to cancel?

There are no long-term contracts unless you explicitly choose the annual plan. For monthly subscribers, you can easily manage, pause, or cancel your membership at any time directly through your online member portal, no questions asked.

Are the live sessions recorded?

Because of the deeply personal nature of our EMBER circles and drop-in spaces, live community gatherings are never recorded to fiercely protect the privacy and safety of our members.

Is The Continuum covered by insurance?

Because The Continuum is not clinical group therapy nor 1:1 treatment, it cannot be billed to insurance.

What time are the live sessions held?

Our rhythm is designed to be predictable.

The live EMBER Community Circles are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 5:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM EST.

The Drop-In Integration Hour is held on the 3rd Friday at 12:00 PM PST / 3:00 PM EST.

The Monthly Video Workshops are released by the 4th Tuesday.

Do I have to be a current or former therapy client of Grounded Grief to join?

No. While this space was built with our therapy clients in mind, The Continuum is open to anyone seeking a professionally held, structured space to navigate their grief.

You don't have to carry it alone.

We hope you will give this community a try, especially if you feel weary and isolated in your grief. The Continuum is here to offer a place of community and belonging.
