Our PDX Office Just Got Even More Welcoming

There's something special about a handmade sign that says "you are welcome here." And thanks to the incredible craftsmanship of Livy Long and her partner Marcelo, our Portland office now has exactly that.

The Story Behind the Sign

Finding a therapist's office can sometimes feel like a scavenger hunt—especially when you're already carrying the weight of grief. We've heard from clients who've circled the block, second-guessed the address, or hesitated at the door, unsure if they were in the right place.

We wanted to change that.

Enter Livy Long and Marcelo, who hand-crafted this beautiful sandwich board that now welcomes people to our space. With its dark aquamarine green color (perfectly matching our brand) and that friendly pink arrow, the message is clear: You're in the right place. Come on in.

More Than Just Directions

This sign is more than wayfinding—it's an invitation. It's a small but meaningful way of saying: "We see you. We're here. And yes, this is where you belong."

Because showing up to therapy—especially grief therapy—takes courage. The last thing anyone should have to worry about is whether they've found the right building.
