Sometimes what we need most in our grief is connection.

A space where we can be witnessed, where our losses are acknowledged, where we're not alone in what we're carrying.

That's why we're offering a series of grief workshops this fall—intimate, live gatherings designed to bring people together around specific grief experiences and create space for genuine connection, community, and insight.

What These Workshops Offer

Each workshop is a focused, one-hour session that creates a container for meaningful conversation, shared witnessing, and community support. These aren't therapy sessions, but they are therapeutic. They're not support groups in the traditional sense, but they do offer the deep support that comes from being with others who understand.

You'll leave each workshop feeling:

  • Less alone in your grief experience

  • Connected to others navigating similar losses

  • Witnessed in your pain and your resilience

  • More equipped with insights and perspectives that can support your grieving process

Our Fall Workshop Series

We're offering four distinct workshops this fall, each focusing on a different aspect of the grief experience:

Tuesday, October 15: Navigating Child Loss

The loss of a child—whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, or the death of a child at any age—is a uniquely devastating experience. This workshop creates space specifically for those navigating this profound loss to come together, share, and feel less isolated in their grief.

Wednesday, October 16: Navigating the Holidays

The holidays can be incredibly difficult when you're grieving. The pressure to be festive, the empty chair at the table, the traditions that feel impossible to continue or impossible to change—it's a lot. This workshop offers practical support and community connection as you prepare for the holiday season ahead.

Monday, October 21: A Space for Non-Death Loss

Not all significant losses involve death, but they all deserve to be grieved. This workshop is dedicated to losses like divorce, estrangement, job loss, chronic illness diagnosis, infertility, friendship endings, identity shifts, and more. If you're grieving something that doesn't fit the traditional definition of loss, this space is for you.

Wednesday, November 6: Grief & the Creative Process

Grief and creativity are deeply intertwined. This workshop explores how we can use creative expression—writing, art, music, movement, or any form that calls to us—as a way to process, express, and honor our grief. No artistic experience necessary, just curiosity about how creativity might support your grieving.

Who Can Attend: Anyone navigating grief who wants to connect with community and gain insight into their experience

Why Join a Grief Workshop?

Grief can be incredibly isolating. Even when we're surrounded by people who love us, it can feel like no one truly understands what we're going through. These workshops create intentional space to:

  • Connect with others who "get it" without needing extensive explanation

  • Hear different perspectives and approaches to navigating similar losses

  • Feel witnessed and validated in your grief experience

  • Gain practical insights and tools for your grief journey

  • Remember that you're not alone

You don't need to have it all figured out to attend. You don't need to be "ready" or at a certain point in your grief. Wherever you are in your process, you're welcome here.

A Note on Sliding Scale

We believe grief support should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. Each workshop has limited sliding scale slots available. If the cost is preventing you from attending, please reach out to us. We'll work something out.

These workshops fill up quickly, so if one (or more) speaks to you, we encourage you to register soon.
