A.C. Caldwell | MDiv, MA
Grief & Trauma Professional Counselor Associate
West Team

ABOUT ME
For twenty years, I have supported individuals experiencing illness and the dying process through my work as a Spiritual Care Counselor in both hospital and hospice settings. Recently, I completed my MA in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA, with a focus on depth work and the unconscious.
I understand from personal experience that losing someone or something we love can profoundly alter our world. While this is a normal and human experience—one that everyone goes through—it is vital to have support when navigating the complex terrain of grief, especially when it intersects with deeper trauma and hurt.
No matter where you are in your grief journey, I offer a calm, nonjudgmental presence and draw on my extensive experience in grief and bereavement to accompany you through your uniquely personal process of loss.
I began my journey with death and dying as the child of a funeral director, and gratefully inherited his sense of humor. I work with adults in Oregon, as a Professional Counselor Associate under the clinical supervision of David Habib Martin, MA, MATS, LPC.
WHAT KEEPS ME GROUNDED
My ideal day includes singing favorite songs, eating delicious food, laughing with good friends, and enjoying the beauty of the PNW. My wife and I live in Portland with our cat Bodhi.
