About the event
Survivors of suicide loss face their grief within a world that continues to judge and stigmatize this type of death. The completion of suicide and the survivor's (and society's focus on such) can dominate the grief experience and minimize the importance of the relationship with the deceased.
- We know that being seen in your grief, no matter how your person died, is so important.
- We know that being able to tell your story, no matter the details of that story, is so important.
- We know that being able to talk about your person, without the cause of death having to be the main topic all of the time, is so important.Â
Come join a 1-hr remote workshop that will provide a space for your grief and the possibility of connection and further insight into this experience.Â
Facilitators: Katherine Hatch, MSW, LICSW, LCSW & Stephanie O'Brien, MSW, LGSW
Please note that Grounded Grief requires there to be at least 4 or more  attendees to run the sessions. Attendees will be informed of any cancellations via email and refunds will be promptly issued should any cancellation occur.
