About the Event
You know grief intimately, you've sat with it, named it, held it carefully in your hands for others. And still, your own grief needs a place to land somewhere that isn't your next session, your supervision hour, or the drive home.
This space was created specifically for therapists, counselors, social workers, chaplains, hospice volunteers, doulas, nurses, and all those in the helping and healing professions — a room where you are not the holder, you are the held.
Because you are also navigating losses. Personal ones. And the accumulated weight of bearing witness to the pain of others — the vicarious grief, the moral injury, the heartbreak of the work you love.
Here, you will not run into clients. Here, you can set down the clinical frame entirely.
In our two hours together, we'll tend to:
Your personal grief — whatever you've been quietly carrying beneath your professional role
The weight of the work — secondary trauma, compassion fatigue, and the grief of witnessing
The losses within the profession itself — the cases that stayed with you, the limits of what helping can do, the grief of not being able to do more
You, the whole person — not the practitioner, not the expert, just the human being who showed up
This is a peer space — not supervision, not therapy, not a training. Just grief, witnessed, among those who understand the particular texture of this work.
